The Objective
We have joined forces with other online retailers to support the mission of ending extreme poverty. The Millenium Promise is a charity organization dedicated to this critical mission. Spearheaded by economist Jeffrey Sachs, and with support of many activists worldwide, like Bono, it offers real hope and tangible results for solving this problem that is within our reach.
Towards this end, we are matching, dollar for dollar, any donations made by our customers in support of this worthy cause, with a minimum of $10,000 per year, and a maximum of $50,000. The initial focus is on Tanzania in Africa, where this initiative is already producing measurable results.
