We all settled in our condos. After that, we met on the beach to have cocktails and enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing onto the shore. It was as if we had landed in paradise. We had already contacted the people that plan weddings on the island, so we checked with them to see how events were progressing.Because of recent rains, the ocean was covering a good portion of the beach. So the wedding planners suggested that the couple be married near the seawall in a lush rainforest garden on the premises of the resort. We could see and hear the ocean from our vantage point. My husband walked our daughter down the garden path toward her waiting groom. The wedding was beautiful and we all cried with joy and pride.
