Bridesmaid Gifts on a Budget

Your bridesmaids are an essential part of your wedding - from the planning process to the bridal shower to the wedding reception, these girls will stand by your side, hold your hand and provide suggestions to help create your perfect day!  You would love to give each bridesmaid the world but let's face it, most weddings run on a pretty tight budget.  Here I will share with you some stunning bridesmaid gift ideas that won't break the bank!

budget.bridesmaid.gifts1budget.bridesmaid.gifts21)  Gifts Under $10 - Any bridesmaid can use a monogrammed pouch like the one seen on the left.  These black quilted bags come with your choice of single monogram initial and are available for as little as $3.57.  Bridesmaids may also like something from our Cosmopolitan Monogram Collection, such as the can koozie shown here.  Other inexpensive gift ideas include an embossed photo album or jewelry box, a personalized key chain or a handmade item like a photo frame or bath salts.

2)  Gifts $10 to $20 - Many brides like their attendants to wear matching jewelry during the ceremony, and it's common for the bride to gift these pieces to her bridal party.  You can help each bridesmaid gather her belongings with a bridesmaid tote (shown bottom right).  We also offer monogrammed flip flops for your bridesmaids to wear during or after the ceremony (especially trendy for a destination wedding).  You can find many other gifts in this price range including an engraved compact mirror, a monogrammed jewelry roll or a personalized coffee mug.

3)  Gifts $20 to $50 - I enjoy giving personalized gifts because they are unique and thoughtful.  To show your appreciation to the girls who made your wedding day a success, consider an engraved photo frame, personalized pub sign (as seen here), engraved wine glass set, embroidered laptop tote or woman's engraved flask.

4)  Gifts $50 to $100 - If there's room in your budget, treat your girls to a group spa day prior to your wedding.  They will love to relax with a massage, manicure, pedicure and facial.  This will also be a great time to bond with your attendants and discuss any last minute wedding details.  Spa days can vary in price according to the number of services that you order.  You can also treat each bridesmaid to a spa gift basket that they can use at home.  Other ways to pamper your attendants include a luxurious robe and slippers or tickets to their favorite concert or sporting event.

No matter what your gift choice or budget, the most memorable part of each bridesmaid gift may be the thank you note that you write.  You may want to write this after the ceremony is over, or you can choose to write it prior to the wedding.  In either case, take a few moments to reflect on why you asked that person to be your bridesmaid and thank them for being such an important part of your life.  I still have the thank you letter that my sister wrote when I was in her wedding, just thinking about the kind words she wrote brings a tear to my eye!
