If ever there were a place to host a winter wedding with soft snow and frosted pine trees, Minnesota is the place. Which is where today's featured couple, Anna and Erik, celebrated their big day, at the beautiful Rush Creek Golf Course in Maple Grove, MN.
Their photographer, Lace Hanky Photography LLC, captured some gorgeous moments throughout the day that we are so excited to share with you today. Let's take a peek!
Isn't it the perfect backdrop for a gorgeous winter wonderland wedding? The golf course was filled with beautiful white mountains of snow. It makes for some very neat photos of the wedding party, doesn't it?
Next up, the ceremony was held right there in the ballroom at Rush Creek. It had a glowing fire place, and plenty of warm seats for guests to cozy up in during the ceremony. We love the little aisle markers with burlap, lace and winter twigs and pine - filled with baby's breath and votive candles. Aren't they gorgeous? Not to mention the lighted garland that sat above the fireplace for the ultimate winter touch during the exchanging of vows.
After the ceremony, guests didn't have to go far as dinner and dancing was right around the corner! Rush Creek is a large facility with a lot of space, so they didn't have to worry about being couped up in one little area.
The reception hall was decorated just as beautifully as the ceremony area with touches of baby's breath, candles, pine and even some small winter glove ornaments! What a fun way to bring your theme full-circle.
And in came the bride and groom! We are seriously loving how much like a winter fairytale this wedding has turned out to be. Could you picture it any more perfect?
Another favorite touch of ours is this stunning winter wedding cake. Put together pine wood and branches, along with pine cones, baby's breath and that sweater-like texture on the cake, it really couldn't get any better! Isn't it just too pretty to cut?
And of course, at the end of the day you just have to have a pretty way to top off the night! How pretty are these next photos with the sparklers? Seriously too perfect!
We wish Anna and Erik the very best in their new life together!
