Not only for beach weddings, this Sand Pouring Ceremony Set has become very popular in recent years. The blending of sand reflects your two lives blending into one. Set includes one large cylinder (3" by 9") with a white linked hearts imprint, and three smaller cylinders (1 3/4" by 7 1/2"). The smaller cylinders can also be purchased separately if more are needed (search for item #22909). Suggested Blending Ceremony: Fill one cylinder with white sand to represent the couple's spiritual foundation and fill the other two cynlinders each with different colored sand to represent the individuals. During the ceremony, each color is poured into the cylinder one by one (usually the celebrant adds the white sand first), and then all three are added together at the top to symbolize the union. An alternative filling method is to choose a different color for each family member (appropriate for second marriages) and have them add their color to show how the colors will blend in harmony.
