Today's #MontageMonday post brings the beautiful and elegant combination of a deep berry purple, a woodsy brown, and a little touch of lilac. All these hues together create a dazzling palette suitable for a queen!
The joy of combining these beautiful colors is that you can use them any time of the year. This palette doesn't necessarily fit specifically to a season, as many colors seem to do. No, these colors are suitable year-round!
These vibrant hues would be great with really any theme, but it would especially go well with a wine/vineyard wedding theme, or a vintage/rustic wedding theme. Just imagine some worn driftwood, charming plum-colored invites and programs, and lilac and ivory wedding cupcakes. The list could go on and on, but that just shows that the possibilities are endless.
And for the wedding attire? You can't go wrong. Picture your bridesmaids dressed all in different colors of your palette with the style of gowns that they feel is most flattering. It adds a little character and personality to your bridal party and would really tie the whole theme together. For the men, you can either opt for tan tuxes, gray tuxes, or black tuxes; all of them would be well-suited for this lovely color scheme.
Last but not least, don't forget about your wedding decor. We love how the inspiration board above uses subtle whites and browns as to not overdo with too much purple. The colorful flowers do a great job of adding a pop of accent to the tables and definitely tie it all together without being too overwhelming.
As you can see, there are countless ways to get creative with this berry purple color palette. Add small accents throughout your big day to create a stunning atmosphere for your special day!
A special thank you to Haylie of Arb Design for creating this great inspiration board on Dessy!
