Today's Castle Themed Wedding was sent to us by Origin Photos, who captured these gorgeous images to Rena and Sudip's wedding day. The event was held at the stunning Oheka Castle in Huntington, (East Central) New York which resides on the highest point of Long Island. It emulates what you'd expect of a French chateaux including luxurious formal gardens, beautifully designed architecture, and of course wine and fine dining. It was the perfect setting for such a romantic, special day.
The day began with Rena getting ready for her big day. A beautiful Indian bride, her traditional bridal attire included a vibrant red sari (traditional Hindu wedding gown), embroidered ghunghat (Hindu bridal veil), and dazzling matha patti (traditional head jewelry). She looked absolutely stunning!
Before the ceremony, as he was getting ready for the big day, Sudip wrote Rena a very sweet love letter that he had delivered to her. It was so sweet!
And then finally, Sudip and Rena had their first look! This is always one of our favorite parts of a wedding day, as the emotion is undeniable! After seeing each other for the first time, they moved on to take more radiant photos as a couple.
The ceremony was held outdoors on the castle premises, and was witnessed by the couple's closest friends and family.
Afterwards, the couple's reception was held inside the castle which they had furnished with immaculate, luxurious wedding decor. The venue looked nothing short of exquisite with all of the thoughtful, extravagant detail all around. Would you expect anything less to a lavish castle wedding?
As the evening progressed, the lights dimmed and gave a pink and purple glow. It made the whole venue look like a scene to a movie!
The gorgeous, four-tiered, gold wedding cake featured white drapery that elegantly cascaded to the top to the very bottom.
The night continued with lots of dancing and fun! It was definitely a gorgeous, and glamorous evening. We are so glad that we could share in such a special day!
We wish Sudip and Rena the very best in their new life together!
